Arrest killers of Kom soldier immediately, protesters to Manipur CM

Manipur MC Mary Kom ARMY IMPHAL N Biren Singh Imphal East Guwahati

IMPHAL/GUWAHATI: Hundreds of Kom protesters took to the streets on Monday in five districts of Manipur, a day after the bullet-riddled body of an Army sepoy, Serto Thangthang Kom (41) was recovered from Imphal East district.

With no headway on the identity of his killers, the N Biren Singh government said the probe will be headed by an Inspector general of police.
