Court refuses to halt execution of Gulf War veteran who killed girlfriend and three children

Florida death row inmate, Jeffrey Hutchinson, 62, is scheduled for execution on Thursday evening for the 1998 murders of his girlfriend and her three young children.

Hutchinson, a Gulf War Army veteran, maintains his innocence, claiming his mental health deteriorated after his service and that the killings were part of a government conspiracy to silence his activism related to Gulf War illnesses and veterans' issues.
