The release of the second and final season of Arcane, the animated series based on League of Legends, is still two months away. This may seem like a long wait still for excited fans, but Netflix has given a new preview of what can be expected.
The new trailer gives a glimpse of the all-out war between Piltover and Zaun, and what this means for the characters involved.

New Trailer Released
The new trailer, which is two minutes and 20 seconds long, begins with lead character Violet (otherwise known as Vi) acknowledging that her sister Powder "is gone."
"There's only Jinx now," she says to Caitlyn.
These is also a reference to the series' title in the trailer as the words "The Arcane is waking up" can also be heard in the trailer.
The trailer likewise features many of the characters from the series. Aside from Caitlyn and sisters Vi and Jinx, Ekko and Heirmerdinger, among others, are also in the trailer. Clips of the impending conflict have also been included in the trailer to give the audience a taste of the distruction and pain caused by the war between Piltover and Zaun.

What Else to Expect from Season 2
The second and final season of Arcane is set for release on November 6, 2024. It continues the events of the first season, which aired in 2021.
Most of the voice cast from the first season are in the second as well, including Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Vi, as well as Ella Purnell, who voices Jinx. Harry Potter alum Katie Leung is likewise returning as Caitlyn.
In addition, Ekko voice actor Reed Shannon and Mick Wingert, who voiced Heirmerdinger, are also in the second season.
Arcane
Set in the League of Legends universe, Arcane is an animated steampunk action-adventure series produced by Fortiche and distributed by Netflix. Riot Games, the developer and publisher of League of Legends has supervised the series since its conception.
Considered one of the best video game adaptations ever made, Arcane was the highest-rated series from Netflix within the first week of its premiere. It made history when it became the first streaming series to win the Outstanding Animated Program award during the Primetime Emmys in 2022.
The story of the series focuses on sisters Vi and Jinx, who were torn apart by the brewing conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
