Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and first foldable iPhone Duo will launch with 12GB of RAM, after Apple reportedly dropped earlier internal plans to equip both devices with 16GB as soaring memory prices upended its 2026 hardware roadmap.

The claim comes from Chinese leaker Instant Digital, whose brief Weibo post suggests the higher specification was under consideration at an unspecified point during development.
