Apology to customers as Nottinghamshire tea room forced to temporarily close

A tea room which has been forced to temporarily close due to a leak has apologised to customers for the inconvenience. Alfie’s Tea Rom, located in Toton Lane near the tram stop, informed customers on its official Facebook page that the leak needed 'sorting out'.

In a Facebook post, staff at the tea room also apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by the closure. It has been closed for a few days but it is due to reopen next week. A sign on the door reads: "GREAT NEWS!!! Open as usual from Monday 20th Feb."

One customer on Facebook wrote: "Lovely place... hope it get sorted...meet up with friends a lot." Nottinghamshire Live has attempted to contact the tea room for comment.
