Ant and Dec's Britain's Got Talent announcement met with boos from angry crowd

Ant and Dec were met with unlikely boos by the Britain's Got Talent audience after they made a shocking announcement near the end of Wednesday's semi final.

The hosts were at the helm of the ITV talent show's third live show of the week as a new batch of acts aimed to make it through to to Sunday's finale. The latest semi came in the aftermath of judge Simon Cowell coming under fire from angry viewers on Tuesday, after he voted against Amber and the Dancing Collies, in favour of musical duo Fitz and Taylor.

Acts in the third Britain's Got Talent semi included The Freaks, the creepy but captivating acrobatics who wowed the judges with their audition, as well as The Dots, and Tom Ball and Eva Abley, the acts who ended up making it through.
