Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne recently made a special appearance at a performance of the new Broadway musical, The Outsiders. The mother-daughter duo posed backstage with the cast of the show, as they are also co-producers of the production. The musical, currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City, is based on S.E. Hinton's iconic novel from 1967.
The Outsiders follows the story of teenager Ponyboy Curtis and his group of friends known as the 'greasers,' who find themselves in conflict with the rival group, the 'Socs.' The novel was previously adapted into a movie in 1983 by director Francis Ford Coppola, featuring a star-studded cast including Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, and Patrick Swayze.
