LSU star Angel Reese has had a breakout year, first in basketball with a national championship run in March, then in pop culture. The 21-year-old made her SI Swimsuit debut this year, and she was parodied on Saturday Night Live last month.
Now, Reese’s latest star moment is a cameo in a brand new music video. Latto released a video for her new song “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B, and Reese appeared as Cardi B dropped an LSU basketball reference in her verse.
“I been ballin’ so damn hard, could’ve went to LSU, huh,” Cardi B rapped. (Warning: the music video features explicit lyrics and content.)

Reese is coming off a White House appearance, despite her back-and-forth with First Lady Jill Biden after the national championship. She also now has over two million Instagram followers as her stardom has grown exponentially over the past few months, resulting in an increased NIL valuation.
With all her newfound fame, Reese is entering her final year of college eligibility next year with a chance to continue raising her starpower ahead of entering the WNBA. Until then, she seems to be enjoying all the perks of being a national champion.
