Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is the new 7/2 favourite to be the next Tottenham manager after Arne Slot ruled himself out of contention.
The Dutchman had reportedly become a leading contender to replace Antonio Conte at Spurs following a fine campaign where he led the Rotterdam club to the Eredivisie title.
Talks between Slot’s management and Feyenoord took place this week but it has been agreed the 44-year-old will stay at De Kuip.
Now reports down south suggest Spurs have pinpointed Postecoglou as their No1 target and the bookies have named the Aussie the new favourite for the position at 7/2.
Brendan Rodgers follows behind at 4/1, with Luis Enrique (15/2), Ruben Amorim (11/1) and Graham Potter (11/1) other contenders.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Arne Slot is the latest manager to rule himself out of taking the vacant Tottenham job, having been the favourite to replace Antonio Conte for the past week.
"Now, Spurs have reportedly turned their attention to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, who is the new 7/2 favourite to take the reins in north London.
"Brendan Rodgers follows behind at 4/1, with Luis Enrique 15/2 and both Ruben Amorim and Graham Potter 11/1.”
