VIJAYAWADA: A person hired contract killers to kill his parents and younger brother for property in Kavali Mandal of Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district. Allegedly, the deal was struck for 5 lakh between the son and contract killers.
According to the police, Morusu Bala Krishnaiah (67) lodged a complaint with Kavali rural police in which he stated that he has two sons among them, elder son Morusu Lakshmi Narayana and younger son Morusu Veera Raghavendra. He divided his property into three parts, as two parts to his two sons and one part to him. Later he sold some land from his property and gave money to his younger son, who was in financial disputes.
Lakshmi Narayana, who came to know this matter, often quarreled with his father alleging disparities between him and his younger brother. He also threatened his father to kill him by hiring contract killers multiple times.
Later, Lakshmi Narayana along with his friend Pasam Subbarao hatched a criminal conspiracy to kill his father Bala Krishnaiah, mother Vajramma, and his younger brother Veera Raghavendra, and hired contract killers. As per their plan, Lakshmi Narayana, his friend, and contract killers conducted a recce at Bala Krishna’s home. However, the complainant and his family members were not at home at that moment and luckily escaped from the danger.
The complainant came to know about his elder son’s conspiracy to kill him through his relative Bogisetty Srihari, following which he lodged a complaint with the police. Police registered a case and are searching for the absconding accused persons.
