NEW DELHI: A consortium of seven public sector banks told the Supreme Court on Monday that it decided to infuse Rs 1,500 crore in the construction of Amrapali unfinished housing projects which is being built under the supervision of the court.
Appearing before a bench of Justices Uday Umesh Lalit and Bela M Trivedi, the consortium's lawyer Alok Kumar submitted that all documentation works had been done and it had been approved by six banks and nod of Indian Bank was awaited.
