Amir Khan has splashed the cash on getting rid of his hairy chest.
The retired millionaire boxer secretly underwent laser hair removal sessions prior to his short-lived stint on I’m A Celebrity South Africa - believing being bare would help him look more muscly.
Amir, 36, said: “I know it’s not masculine, but all my life when I’ve been fighting I’ve had a hairy chest, but I got it lasered recently.
“People say, ‘You need to be a man, you need to have hair on your chest’, but I think it looks nice. It looks more clean and more defined. We want to see the definition of our muscles.
“When we get whipped up we want to see the lines and definition and you can tell that when you don’t have the hair, so I’ve had it lasered.”
Amir, who first appeared on the ITV show in 2017, admitted he felt some remorse over taking the permanent action.
Speaking on Rylan Clark’s new podcast, he said: “Sometimes I do regret it because sometimes it’s good to have a bit of a bush, do you know what I mean?”
