Professional eater Randy Santel will be getting stuck into a mega food challenge when he visits Nottingham this weekend. The American YouTube sensation, who boasts nearly 1.5m followers, has been tackling some of the nation's biggest belly-busting plates of food on a whistle-top tour of the UK.
Nottingham company Doughnotts will be providing him with food for thought - a whopping 14in monster doughnut. Randy has so far scoffed his way through gigantic burgers and a 60oz steak at restaurants around Scotland - and nothing has beaten him.
He will attempt to hoover up the massive sugary creation at Doughnotts' city centre shop in King Street on Sunday September 4. The 36-year-old from Missouri will be joined by his partner Katina Eats Kilos.

The 31-year-old is no stranger to food challenges herself having munched her way through a huge breakfast sandwich and a giant portion of fish and chips on their UK and Republic of Ireland visit. She worked her way through Dublin's tallest burger with six patties, loaded with brisket, sauce, cheese, and bacon, a huge side of fries and a pint of Guinness in under 30 minutes.
Fans are invited along to watch the challenge at Doughnotts. The duo said: "Randy and Katina will each take on Doughnotts' 14-Inch monster doughnut challenge which is sure to be a fun and delicious restaurant food challenge event that you don't want to miss! We appreciate all support and look forward to meeting everyone at Doughnotts in Nottingham."
The super-sized doughnuts are normally ordered for special occasions such as birthdays. The doughnut will be topped with chocolate frosting decorated with Peanut Butter Cups, Toffee Crisps, Peanut Butter Pretzels, Kinder Bars, Kinder Hippos, Chocolate Dodgers, Smarties, Galaxy Caramel and toffee puddles.
A Doughnotts spokesman said: "The challenge came about after a customer asked about it in store and whether we'd ever thought about it. At the time we hadn't, so we thought why not give a go! and since then it has been a thing.
"Randy and Katina approached us to take part in it. They are really big foodie YouTubers that specialise in food challenges, and as they are currently doing a UK tour they've been speaking with other UK-based foodies who recommended us."
Katina will kick off the challenge at 2pm before Randy's attempt.
