Amazon is rolling out one-hour deliveries for US cities – but there’s a catch

  • Amazon is expanding its delivery options across the US, offering one-hour delivery in hundreds of locations and three-hour delivery in over 2,000 cities and towns.
  • US customers can order over 90,000 products, including household essentials, electronics, and clothing, for rapid delivery.
  • One-hour delivery is priced at $9.99 for Prime members and $19.99 for non-members, while three-hour delivery costs $4.99 for Prime members and $14.99 for non-members.
  • The new delivery options are available seven days a week, with Amazon planning further expansion to more areas in the coming months.
  • This initiative builds on Amazon's history of speeding up deliveries since Prime launched in 2005, and the company is also testing "Amazon Now" for ultra-fast 30-minute deliveries in select international markets.
