Amanda Holden stormed out of the studio when she was sabotaged in a hilarious Pancake Day competition on the air.
The 51-year-old took part in the friendly Pancake Day contest on Tuesday during her and co-host Jamie Theakston’s Heart Breakfast radio show, as she took on Ashley Roberts in a “flip off”.
Amanda was determined to be the person who flipped the most pancakes, but she was furious when the former Pussycat Doll was sabotaged her.
Ashley handed Amanda a broken frying pan, and even stuck her pancake on with glue, leaving the TV star raging and smashing eggs as she stomped out of the studio.
“Who is Heart Breakfast’s Queen Flipper, is it Amanda Holden or is it Ashley Roberts? Okay, are you ready, can you grab your pans please? Your thirty seconds starts now! And we’re off,” Jamie began as he presided over the competition.
But Amanda’s frying pan broke almost immediately, prompting her to exclaim: “What the hell is that!”
“Amanda what has happened to your…” Jamie asked, as the Britain’s Got Talent judge realised her pancake wasn’t flipping as Ashley had glued it to the pan.
“You’re just sabotaging! For god’s sake! That is just cheating! Look, this has got, someone has been in, in the night and superglued my pancake,” she yelled.
“What do you mean…” Ashley innocently asked.
“Did you do that?” Amanda fired.
“Never! I wouldn’t dare,” the 40-year-old replied, as Jamie read out the scores.
“Ashley scored, 18. Amanda….zero,” he said, prompting Amanda to start throwing eggs around the studio at her cheating competitor.
“Sabotage! Sabotage! Sabotage! Sabotage!” she screamed, as Ashley told listeners Amanda was walking off set.
“Amanda Ramsay!” the star shouted.
Jamie then outed Ashley live on-air, admitting he had warned her not to interfere in the friendly competition.
“Ashley I knew you shouldn’t have stuck her pancake to her pan,” he said, as a guilty Ashley laughed: “What do you mean, I didn’t do that!”
