Ally Love reveals death threats after Rangers Alex Lowry tackle leaves youngster in stretcher

ALLY LOVE has revealed he has received death threats following his tackle on Alex Lowry.

The Dumbarton midfielder put in a challenge on the Ibrox youngster resulting in the 19-year-old having to be stretchered off.

Lowry has since had a scan on his knee, but there has been no update from Rangers on his injury.

Love reacted on Twitter, saying: "I want to put out there after death threats and people online asking me to die over this tackle!

"I hope Alex is ok..by no means would I want to deliberately injure anyone. I needlessly lunge in trying to stop a cross. Tackles like this happen on a football park every other week."
