Allan McGregor dodges Rangers future question with smirking Europa League glory quip

Veteran stopper Allan McGregor insists he is in no rush to decide his Rangers future.

The 40-year-old is out of contract in the summer and could hang up his gloves after becoming a legend at Ibrox.

However, he insists his focus is on the remainder of the season before he make a call on his future but conceded a Europa League medal could be a good way to sign off.

Speaking to former Rangers teammate on Alan Hutton on BT Sport ahead of the clash with Braga he opened up on his thinking.

He said: "You just need to wait and see what happens.

"At this stage it's not year by year, it's month by month, and day by day, you see how you feel.

"I'm not really thinking about it just now, i'm just thinking about the game on Thursday (Braga)."

Hutton then asks could it get better than ending his career with a European final, and a smirking McGregor added: "Well, if you won it that would be good aye."
