Good Morning Britain’s weatherman Alex Beresford will perform a hit from the musical Hamilton on the upcoming special All Star Musicals.
And panellist Trevor Dion Nicholas admits is a bold choice.
“The song he has picked is a beast,” he says.
“It’s a lot of words, it’s a lot to carry across and it’s an easy one to be overwhelmed by.”
So that’s a forecast of high pressure for next weekend, when All Star Musicals airs 3rd April, 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
Delia's recipe for less booze
Her simple recipes taught us how to cook, now Delia Smith has an equally straightforward formula for cutting back on booze.
Although how much she’s actually “cutting back” is questionable.
She and husband of 50 years Michael Wynn-Jones have tried to reduce their alcohol intake to boost their health.
“We try not to have wine from Monday to Friday,” explains Delia. “Then we drink from Friday to Monday what we would have drunk.”
It’s not quite what the NHS advises.
Delia, 80, was accused of being drunk in 2005 when she famously ventured on to the pitch at Carrow Road wearing her beloved Norwich City’s colours, issuing a rallying cry of “let’s be havin’ you” to fans.
She has always denied being tipsy, and now scoffs at the accusation.
“You’re not allowed to be passionate in this country unless you’re drunk,” she tells Saga magazine. “So therefore they had to say I was drunk. I had to go into hiding because there was such uproar. It was terrible – then it completely reversed. I had letters saying: ‘I wish we had an owner like you’.”
Vernon's Saville blunder
Vernon Kay made an unfortunate slip while introducing Marc Almond on Radio 2 yesterday, complimenting him by saying he was “blown away” by the singer’s “amazing duet with Jimmy Savile”.
Marc, thankfully, guffawed as the presenter quickly apologised and corrected himself to say it was Marc’s duet with Bronski Beat’s Jimmy Somerville that had wowed him – not an unlikely collaboration with late serial paedophile Savile.
“That’s a clip we don’t ever want to hear again, apologies,” groaned Vernon, adding prophetically: “I’m never going to live that one down.”
Kylie Jenner changes son's name
Kardashian sister Kylie Jenner has decided to change her weeks-old son’s name because he didn’t suit her original choice, Wolf.
“We just didn’t feel like it was him,” she explained, referring to her partner Travis Scott, without revealing what they’ve changed it to.
Still, the news has proved welcome by some.
“Thank f***,” said a relieved Wolf Van Halen, pictured above, bassist son of Eddie.
