Many stores were closed on Easter Sunday, but they're set to open on Easter Monday. However opening times are different to the usual Mondays, so it's best to check to avoid disappointment or a walk around the block until the doors open, reports the Mirror.
This is a list of opening times for the major supermarkets, however always use your local store's locator tool to get specific opening and closing hours for them.
Tesco
Easter Monday: Some stores will be open 8am to 6pm, but this will vary depending on location and store type. Use the Tesco store locator tool to find out your local opening times using your postcode.
Asda
Easter Monday - M ost Asda stores will be open between 7am and 7pm, but this can differ from store to store. Remember to check your local Asda opening times before heading out, using the Asda store locator tool.
Lidl
Easter Monday - S ome stores open between 7am and 11pm, but check local opening times to be sure. You can check your local Lidl store opening times here.
Aldi
On Easter Monday, most stores will open between 8am and 8pm. However Aldi says opening hours may vary depending on store location, so use its store finder to check local store opening times.
Morrisons
Easter Monday - The majority of stores will be open between 7am and 8pm, with the exception of a few stores until 10pm. Find your local store and opening hours on the Morrisons website.
Sainsbury's

Waitrose
Easter Monday - Stores will open at 10am and close at 8pm. Check your local Waitrose branch opening times here.
