All 007 First Light pre-order bonuses and editions, explained

IO Interactive’s 007 First Light has a few different editions, but the biggest selling point is that pre-ordering any edition gives you the Deluxe Upgrade for free.

The standard edition gets you the base game plus the pre-order reward, while the premium physical editions add collector items and extra cosmetics.

The catch is that some of the best extras are locked behind limited-stock physical versions, so the edition you choose matters more than usual. With that said, here’s everything you need to know about 007 First Light editions and the exact differences so you can pick one accordingly.

007 First Light pre-order bonuses

The main 007 First Light pre-order reward is the free Deluxe Upgrade, which is included with pre-orders of the game before launch. That upgrade adds four exclusive outfits, one new weapon skin, and the Gleaming gadget skin pack.

Pre-ordering a digital edition also gets you 24-hour early access, so you can start playing one day before it officially releases. Here’s the full pre-order bonus list:

  • 24-hour early access for digital pre-orders only
  • Free Deluxe Upgrade with pre-order
  • Four exclusive outfits
  • One new weapon skin
  • Gleaming gadget skin pack

007 First Light Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is the base version and includes just the game. If you pre-order it, you still get the free Deluxe Upgrade, which makes it a strong value pick for most players.

Digital buyers also get the 24-hour early access perk, so you are not missing out on launch-day access if you skip the premium physical editions.

007 First Light Deluxe edition

The Deluxe content is the same across all pre-order eligible editions and is more cosmetic-focused. It includes four outfits: Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, and Gentleman Operator.

It also adds the Agent’s Mark weapon skin and the Gleaming Pack, which includes four gadget skins. These extras are nice for players who like a more stylish Bond look, but they do not change the core gameplay.

There are Collector’s, Specialist, and Legacy physical editions too, and these are the premium collector-style options. The Specialist or Collector-style release adds physical extras and includes a Classic Tuxedo skin, depending on the listing.

The Legacy Edition is the top-end version and includes the most premium physical collectibles, including a Golden Gun figurine, a steel case, a certificate of authenticity, and the Obsidian Gold Suit with Golden Gun weapon skin, aimed at collectors.

Which 007 First Light edition should you buy?

If you only care about playing the game, the Standard Edition is the smartest buy because the pre-order bonus already gives you the Deluxe content at no extra charge. If you are a collector or want to display items, the Legacy-style physical editions are the ones to look at.

007 First Light launches on May 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. That means the pre-order bonus window ends before launch day, so anyone who wants the free Deluxe Upgrade needs to buy early.
