Newcastle United are awaiting international clearance to play new signing Alexander Isak against Wolverhampton Wanderers but hope for the green light after getting the paperwork to the Premier League before today's noon deadline.
The striker's registration needed to be in by 12pm on Friday lunchtime for him to feature in Sunday's match.
Isak could be a starter with Callum Wilson injured with a hamstring problem.
His last action for Real Sociedad was in a 4-1 defeat against Barcelona on a night when he netted the equaliser.

Eddie Howe said: “He is technically very good, with a mix of attributes that will complement us, but he is also at a great age to grow with this club.
“I want to thank the club’s owners and transfer committee for bringing Alexander to Newcastle. We are all
delighted to have him on board.”
