Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has lauded the Liverpool fans after bidding farewell to Anfield for the last time in his Reds career.
The 29-year-old didn't feature in the matchday squad for Liverpool's final home match of the Premier League campaign as they drew with Aston Villa.
Jurgen Klopp, who was serving a touchline ban, had to thank the ever-reliable Roberto Firmino, who came on to score late on to keep the Reds' faint hopes of Champions League qualification alive.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has won the Premier League, Champions League and both domestic cups for Liverpool, missed the start of the season with a hamstring injury but enjoyed a spell in the squad from October to January. However, he has been restricted to just three cameo appearances off the bench since.
And on his final march around the hallowed L4 turf for the Reds, he had a message for the best fans he's ever played for.
"They're the best fans I've ever played for, the best I've ever seen," Oxlade-Chamberlain told LFC TV. "The support they show home and away no matter (what) the situation is amazing. I'm lucky enough to be here at a time when we were really successful and to see them so excited through moments.
"It's a level of support I haven't seen before and one I don't think I'll see again. It's been an absolute honour to be able to play for them and something I'll definitely miss."
