Aldi shoppers can't get enough of £1 snack which is 'like gold dust' in stores

A protein pudding costing just £1.09 is proving a hit with Aldi shoppers, with some bulk buying the snack.

The Brooklea pudding, which comes in three flavours of chocolate, caramel and vanilla, even reportedly sold out in some Aldi stores. The snack contains 20g of protein in a 200g pot.

Following their release, shoppers took to Twitter to share their excitement. Callum Taylor said: "@AldiUK and @LidlGB chocolate protein puddings are like gold dust at the moment." Lauren Owens tweeted: "I just wanna get my hands on an Aldi protein pudding like! I've tried for weeks."
