Aldi is closing 900 supermarkets to give staff a day off in April

Supermarket chain Aldi has issued a message to all shoppers ahead of Easter. A major change will be rolled across almost 900 Aldi supermarkets for the Easter period, and shoppers have been given a warning in advance.

Over the Easter weekend, which sees two Bank Holidays - one on Good Friday (April 7) and one on Easter Monday (April 10) - Aldi will be changing how some of its stores operate. Opening times are changing, and stores are set to close to give staff a much needed break.

Over the Easter weekend, over 890 Aldi stores in England and Wales will be open until 10pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. As with previous years, stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open until 8pm on Easter Monday.
