Aldi granted planning permission to build brand new larger store in Perth

Aldi has been unanimously granted planning permission to relocate in Perth and build a brand new bigger store.

Councillors met on June 1 to scrutinise plans from the discount supermarket chain.

The plans from the German-owned chain attracted 16 representations of support and 11 objections - including an objection from supermarket rival Tesco.
