Aldi has brought back a popular fragrance that's being compared to a designer perfume costing 37 times the price. The discount supermarket says its £6.99 dupe can save shoppers up to 98% compared with competitor Creed's Aventus fragrances.
Luxe men's fragrance His Reign Eau de Parfum, from Aldi’s own health and beauty brand Lacura, has returned to stores. It is being stocked alongside a new women's version called Her Reign, with each priced at £6.99 for a 100ml bottle.
This compares to £295 for a 100ml bottle of the Aventus men's fragrance or £260 for a 75ml bottle of Aventus for Her, reports the Liverpool Echo. Aldi describes the Lacura His Reign as boasting "sophisticated flair", with a "bold and refined scent that is sure to inspire confidence".

The product description states the fragrance gives "light notes of blackcurrant, apple and bergamot" that blend with "patchouli, Moroccan jasmine and rose, along with a base of musk, oak moss and vanilla." The new Lacura Her Reign Eau de Parfum is said to boast "fruity notes of apple and lemon that pair perfectly with spicy pink pepper and bergamot tones."
Aldi's description reads: "Her Reign develops into a stunning musk aroma of floral rose and sandalwood with a base of amber, peach and ylang-ylang." The Lacura His Reign and Her Reign fragrances are available in store while stocks last.
