An Air National Guardsman accused of posting classified documents online is expected to plead guilty to charges of willful retention and transmission of classified information. The 21-year-old guardsman was charged with six counts related to the unauthorized disclosure of classified materials.
Prosecutors allege that the guardsman shared classified documents on social media platforms, revealing sensitive information such as eavesdropping activities on key allies and adversaries, as well as details about the state of the war in Ukraine. The guardsman has been in federal custody since April and could face significant prison time if convicted.
