A former Celtic academy defender has retired from football at 21 due to repeated injuries.
Dylan Corr, who had stints at Morton, Raith Rovers, and Kelty Hearts, has decided to quit the game after learning he requires further knee surgery.
Corr featured five times for Kelty Hearts this season but was sidelined after their Scottish League Two opener.
He had played every minute of the club's Premier Sports Cup campaign.
In an emotional Instagram post, the former Scotland youth international explained how another operation, following three surgeries in the last four years, had forced him to prioritise his long-term health.
He wrote: "For as long as I can remember, all I have wanted to do is play football.
"The past few years have been a bit of a rollercoaster with injuries for myself.

"In four years, I have had three surgeries already, and now to find out my knee needs more surgery, which in the long run will not be healthy for my body and may cause more serious issues.
"Due to this, I have decided to step away from the game that I love as I have to put my health first in this situation."
He added: "I will miss that Saturday feeling of waking up to go kick a ball about, but I guess life can throw mad things at you and I look forward to seeing what's next."
Corr leaves the game with valuable experience across the Scottish lower leagues after leaving Celtic.
However, persistent injury problems have brought his career to a premature end.
