Actor Adam Sandler’s love for basketball is well-chronicled.
He’s played plenty of pickup hoops around the country, has been depicted shooting a basketball casually in several movies he’s produced and he even released a movie on Netflix called Hustle, which depicted the life of a scout for the Philadelphia 76ers and featured several NBA players as actors.
So when the 57-year-old Sandler played a game of pickup basketball with some students at the McKale Center before Arizona’s win over Colorado on Thursday night, nobody should have been surprised.
Here’s a clip of Sandler showing off some of his basketball skills in his late 50s.

If the 10th-ranked Wildcats need a handful of minutes off the bench, perhaps they could see if Sandler has any eligibility left. After all, the NCAA seems open to having college players suit up for seven years nowadays.
Good on Sandler for providing those students a moment they’ll never forget.
