Achievements for Starfield's Terran Armada DLC seemingly tease whole new locations and features Bethesda's remained quiet about

Starfield.

Starfield's rocketing off to new horizons in just a few days with its Free Lanes update and premium Terran Armada DLC, but achievements for the incoming expansion seemingly hint at features Bethesda Game Studios hasn't publicly mentioned yet.

Terran Armada is launching next week on April 7, but the DLC's Steam achievements have gone live a little early and nod to secrets Bethesda was perhaps intending to be discovered in-game, such as new locations and even features relating to outposts that could have used some more love in the base RPG.

The 'This for That' achievement, for example, mentions that you'll soon be able to "build out and hand over an outpost to a faction." Starfield outposts were a pretty barebones activity in its launch version, so it's nice to see the feature might now be interacting with factions in some capacity - somewhat reminiscent of Fallout 4's Nuka Cola DLC.

The other biggie comes from the 'Master of Magnetism' achievement, rewarded after destroying a specific robot in somewhere called New Babylon, a location that's not been named or shown of in any of the expansion's trailers or blog posts. Whether it's a new city, planet, explorable ship or isolated space outpost is anyone's guess, though I'm guessing it'll be a pretty prominent locale if it houses one of the game's 20 new achievements.

And, finally, the last one of note comes from Overclocked, an achievement unlocked after fully upgrading the expansion's new robot companion, Delta, who's being described as not fully evil, but not not evil at the same time. It kinda reminds me of Star Wars KOTOR's HK-47, and there now seems to be some sort of upgradability to the character that Bethesda's kept a tight lid on.

You can check out the other Terran Armada achievements for yourself, but be warned, the full list contains some slight spoilers for the base game and beyond.
