Eight years since allegedly joining the Islamic State terror group, accused jihadi Neil Prakash has faced an Australian court after being deported from Turkey.

The Melbourne-born former rapper, once considered the country's most wanted terrorist, appeared in a Darwin court on Friday on charges that could see him behind bars for life.
