MUMBAI: Making a historical occasion of playing in a stadium named after him as 'Abhimanyu Cricket Academy Stadium' in Dehradun even more special, veteran Bengal opener Abhimanyu Easwaran slammed century against hosts Uttarakhand on Day 1 of their Ranji Trophy Group A encounter.

Easwaran scored an unbeaten 141 (238b, 12x4, 1x6) to help Bengal coast to 269/3 at stumps.
