A 24-year-old man in Jakarta spent a month watching floaters drift across his vision, feeling discomfort in his left eye, and fighting intermittent headaches. Treatment for uveitis did nothing. A closer examination then found a mobile, thread-like, whitish worm moving inside the vitreous of his left eye. Removing it did not close the case. The report was published in the American Journal of Case Reports in September 2026.
