Top chef Tom Simmons has announced that he is giving away £300 worth of food to one lucky customer at his Cardiff restaurant for an entire year. To celebrate the Thomas by Tom Simmons restaurant reaching 10,000 followers on Instagram, the Pembrokeshire-born chef revealed that he was running a "little competition" and all proceeds raised will go to Velindre Cancer Care.
The winner will receive a black card for the chef's Pontcanna restaurant. This "one of a kind card" will mean that the winner will be able to spend £300 every month at the restaurant for a year.
At £10 a ticket to enter the contest, all proceeds will go to the Cardiff-based charity. Those who want to enter the competition should click here.

In a post on Instagram announcing the competition, the caption wrote: "To celebrate us reaching 10k followers on Instagram - we are running a little competition! We have partnered up with Velindre Cancer charity and are raising money for them by offering one lucky customer a black card at Thomas.
"This one of a kind card entitles the winner to £300/month at Thomas by Tom Simmons for an entire year! That’s a lot of fried chicken and Tom’s chips! Along with this we are offering priority booking to get a table when it suits you.
"The winner will be drawn at random and to enter, head to the website to buy yourself a ticket. Tickets are £10/each & every single penny will go directly to Velindre.
"Money raised helps fund projects and services over and above those provided by the NHS, which makes a huge difference to patients and their families."
