A Place In The Sun host Laura Hamilton tries new facelift as fans say 'be natural'

A Place in the Sun host Laura Hamilton has surprised fans by undergoing a facelift treatment. The Channel 4 presenter revealed she was have the "non-invasive, needle-free" procedure at a health and beauty clinic owed by a pal - as her social media followers told the 40-year-old she doesn't need it.

Laura shared a video on Instagram as she explained she was trying a new treatment called EmFace. She went on to say that celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Rebel Wilson have been having the treatment, which is taking Hollywood "by storm", reported the Daily Record.

The video showed her visiting Daleswood Aesthetics in Solihull and a montage of the treatment process, which involves electrical pulses through pads applied to the face. The cosmetic process reportedly encourages the muscles to contract and tone, while stimulating collagen production.

In the clip, Laura was seen with three large pads applied to her cheeks and forehead as she shared her experience of the treatment, which is said to be toxin-free and involve no recovery time. She told her 177,000 followers: "It’s quite an unusual feeling, it’s quite warm and like pulses in my skin.

"I felt my forehead tightening, my cheeks tightening, so can't wait to see the results." She added this was the first of four sessions, which are reportedly about 20 minutes each.

Alongside the video, Laura wrote: "After a crazy week I decided to pop in to see my lovely friend Amy @daleswoodaesthetics to try the latest non-invasive, needle free facelift that's has taken Hollywood and it's stars by storm. Daleswood Aesthetics are one of only a handful of clinics outside of London offering this treatment @emface.

She added: "I'm always inspired by fellow women in business and am proud to support my friend Amy and her partner Alison." However, some fans were taken about as they insisted she should "be natural".

Donna commented: "Your eyebrows don't move now so it affects expression. Be a natural beauty x." Eddie wrote: “Well, in my opinion you don't need it gorgeous."

Gary shared: "You don't need anything doing" and Andrew added: "At the moment... kid you don’t need it. You truly look good looking without any cosmetic help".

But other fans were supportive, with one writing: "You don’t need it but feeling good in your self is that important so go girl x." Teresa posted: "You do you. I'm sure you'd age beautifully naturally though".
