While we got wind of a potential Fallout New Vegas remaster or remake over half a year ago now, Fallout 3 was sort of always excluded from the conversation. It was Bethesda’s first foray into that established franchise and, frankly, not the best game it ever made.
But a remake of this 2008 title was, at least at some point, in the works, with a functional build made by “someone” that isn’t Bethesda itself. That is according to journalist Jeff Gerstmann, who said on his show that he had even seen the Fallout 3 remake himself, adding that extensive work was put into it even if the current state of the project is unknown.
