A drive-in cinema is heading to Skewen's Bay Studios just in time for Christmas.
You can sit back in the comfort of your own car or van as the American-style drive-in transports you to a winter wonderland with films like The Polar Express and Elf. Hot food and drinks will be delivered to your car and wireless speakers will be given to vehicle.
The event is organised by Gower Dough Presents, a sister brand to pizza and catering company The Gower Dough Co. Owners Craig Bevan and Beki Burnside will be serving up delicious pizza each night from their wood-fire oven. You can get nachos, hot dogs and hot and cold drinks delivered to your car. The couple first started hosting the drive-ins during lockdown when people could not go to the cinema or enjoy a meal out. In a full circle moment, they are now hosting their latest drive-in in the Bay Studios car park which was previously used as a vaccination centre.
Tickets are per car rather than per person but organisers recommend two to three adults per car so you can enjoy good views from the front or middle seats but families can squeeze in together and cosy up for Christmas!
