After gardenia, Gucci is paying tribute to fragrant jasmine with the second perfume in its #FloraFantasy world.
Shot by artist Petra Collins, the campaign video again stars Miley Cyrus, who sinks into a daydream leaning against the bedspread with a larger-than-life bottle of the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine. A sunlit breeze from the window illuminates the room's blues and pinks, while scenes tinted in pastel hues create the film's surreal spirit and draw the viewer into an anime dream.
Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine opens with notes of mandarin, bergamot and black pepper essences. Gucci doubled the jasmine in the heart, with absolutes of Jasmine grandiflorum and Jasmine sambac joined by magnolia accord and Rose Damascena essence. Benzoin extract as well as sandalwood and patchouli essences round off as base notes.
Jasmine grandiflorum absolute was previously blended with white gardenia and frangipani for the heart of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia launched last year. Its lacquered pink glass bottle features a new take on the signature floral pattern first created by artist and illustrator Vittorio Accornero for Gucci in 1966.
The same pattern adorns the turquoise bottle of the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine. The chosen colour is inspired by the soothing power of turquoise stone -- often associated with hope and protection.
Designed with a sustainable approach, the flacon is made of 10% recycled glass with a water-based lacquer. The outer packaging is made of paper certified by the FSC system, which guarantees products such as wood and paper have been harvested in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
Gucci also presents perfumes in an interactive webpage of the bedroom and the porch, where one can discover the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Jasmine and Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. A door also leads into the make-up station to find the limited-edition eyeshadow palette and lipstick as well as Flora make-up looks.
