People who grew up in the 1990s will remember the hit television series “Boy Meets World.” Known for her role as Topanga, actress Danielle Fishel surprised fans Friday when she revealed that she is a sneakerhead, a phrase used for collectors of sneakers.
“I have been asked by her fans on social media to show off her shoe collection, leading to the reveal of her sneaker collection,” said Fishel in a video seen on TikTok.
“Hard to choose only 5!” said Fishel.
The actress showed off her collection and closet setup for shoes before naming the top five shoes in her collection.
5. Air Jordan 3 Anna Wintour: Listed for $228 on StockX

“Yes, all my shoes have creases, because I wear them,” said Fishel.
The reveal of the five favorite shoes in Fishel’s collection shows a particular love for shoes from Nike with all five pairs being from the footwear giant. The top five also highlights Fishel’s love for shoes in the Jordan brand, the product of Nike’s partnership with Michael Jordan that has been successful for many years.
Fishel starred as Topanga across the seven-season run of “Boy Meets World” on ABC, a channel owned by The Walt Disney Company.
The series, which aired from 1993 to 2000, was a staple of the TGIF lineup of content on Fridays that proved popular with a younger crowd. “Boy Meets World” aired 158 episodes across its run and was later syndicated to the Disney Channel.
Fishel reprised her role on “Girl Meets World,” which aired on the Disney Channel from 2014 to 2017.
The actress now hosts the “Pod Meets World” with “Boy Meets World” co-stars Will Friedle and Rider Strong. The podcast was launched in 2022 and published 45 episodes in its first year. “Pod Meets World” is a rewatch podcast where the stars go back and watch old episodes, provide recaps and bring on special guests for interviews, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the hit show.
