89th Know India Programme: Indian Embassy opens applications for diaspora youth

The Embassy of India in Sofia has invited applications for the 89th Know India Programme (KIP), with the two-week programme scheduled from September 15 to 29, 2026.

The programme, organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, aims to connect young members of the Indian diaspora with India by giving them first-hand exposure to the country's cultural heritage, democratic institutions, economic transformation, innovation and development.

According to the Embassy's announcement shared through its official X account, the programme is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) aged 18 to 23 years.

The Embassy said eligible applicants should submit their applications before the August 27 deadline.
