Marc Marquez could be crowned a nine-time world champion and a seven-time MotoGP title winner in this Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix if he can outscore his brother and nearest rival Alex Marquez by three points over the weekend.
The factory Ducati rider currently has a 182-point lead in the standings, which he must extend to 185 to wrap up the title at Motegi, the home of his previous employer Honda.
