20-year-old Prabhjot Singh deported from Canada after involvement in extortion-related crimes

A 20-year-old Punjabi man has been removed from Canada after being linked to an ongoing extortion investigation in Surrey, British Columbia.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) said foreign national Prabhjot Singh was arrested earlier this year on suspicion of involvement in extortion-related criminal activity. Following his arrest, officers shared information with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), which later led to him being removed from the country after an immigration investigation.
