DELHI: Delhi on Saturday recorded 678 fresh Covid-19 cases with a positivity rate of 3.98 per cent, while two more people succumbed to the viral illness, according to data shared by the health department.
This is the third consecutive day when the daily case count is less than 1,000. On Thursday and Friday, Delhi had logged 865 and 813 fresh Covid-19 cases, respectively. On Wednesday, the city recorded 1,109 cases with a positivity rate of 5.87 per cent.
With Saturday’s 678 cases, Delhi’s caseload has climbed to 19,36,365 and the death toll has gone up to 26,266.
In the last seven days, 17 deaths have been confirmed due to the viral illness in the capital.
