
An unfortunate incident occurred on the campus of Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old woman. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday when Dover police responded to reports of shots fired on the university grounds.
The victim, identified as an 18-year-old woman from Wilmington who was not a registered student at the university, was found with a gunshot wound to her upper body near Warren-Franklin Hall, a freshman dormitory on campus. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being rushed to Bayhealth Kent Campus, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
