These are the faces of seventeen men and women who have been missing from Merseyside for up to 35 years.
Around 180,000 people are reported missing in the UK each year - that is one person every 90 minutes, according to the independent charity Missing People. Although in the vast majority of cases a missing person is found or return within 24 hours - sadly this is not the case for all.
The details of every individual that remains missing in the UK is listed by Missing People on their website, along with their picture, date of birth and last known location. This list includes everyone who is registered as missing in Merseyside by Missing People as of April 2022. The last date these individuals were seen ranges from 2021 to as far back as 1987.
