Iran on Thursday congratulated White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on the birth of her daughter while reminding her of the deadly US-backed strikes on an Iranian school in Minab, telling her to “think of the mothers” of the children killed in the attack.
The remarks came days after Leavitt announced the birth of her second child, a girl named Viviana, in a post on X. Sharing a picture of herself holding her newborn daughter, Leavitt wrote, "On May 1st, Viviana aka 'Vivi' joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love."
