Meghan Markle's estranged father Thomas Markle suffered a suspected stroke earlier this week and a friend claims he is currently unable to speak after being rushed to hospital

Thomas Markle, father of Meghan, has had a stroke, severe enough to make him unable to speak and for him to be airlifted to hospital in California. His other daughter, Samantha, said simply, “we are praying”.

Thomas Markle Senior had been set to fly to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next week from his home in Rosarito, Mexico.

He had been planning to travel to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
