Sheku Bayoh died in 2015 whilst he was restrained by police officers in Fife, and his death is the subject of a judge led inquiry. A senior investigating officer has now told an inquiry that he advised officers not to discuss the incident.

Officers involved in the arrest were taken back to a local police office and advised not to talk about the incident.

Chief Inspector Colin Robson, 43, was the duty senior investigating officer on the day the father-of-two died following his arrest.
