
The fact a man who died after being restrained by police was black and Muslim would “automatically” create potential community tensions, a senior police officer has told an inquiry into his death.
Sheku Bayoh, 31, a father-of-two, died after he was restrained on the ground by six police officers in Kirkcaldy, Fife, on May 3 2015.
