A federal appeals court has ruled in favor of a Texas law targeting major social media companies like Facebook and Twitter

“Without full briefing and argument,” Kagan objects, the Court is quietly resolving major disputes.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court Tuesday put on hold a Texas law that targets “Big Tech” and authorizes the state to sue Facebook, Twitter and other popular social media websites if they “censor” or “discriminate against” conservatives.

A similar law in Texas was granted a stay by a federal appeals court just last week.
